Greetings,
It's me, Apostle Despina Marie! Throughout my Christian journey I've had Destiny moments which have been crucial in determining whether I stay on course. Forgiveness has played a major role in the success of my ministry and personal life, as I have learned how to forgive and master my emotions through the use of God's word. The power of forgiveness is invaluable and essential to your Christian walk. This week's series on Forgiveness will help you on your path towards your destiny.

It's me, Apostle Despina Marie! Love is the greatest gift and command for the Body of Christ. Jesus said Love would be the identifying mark that we are His Disciples. Though we have eloquent speech, are able to move mountains with our faith and work ourselves until we are worn out......Without Love, WE ARE NOTHING!

Therefore, if the world is confused about who we are....we should check our SPIRITUAL LOVE LIFE!

This forgiveness is stressing me out. Everyone is talking about it and i have been trying to figure out what the true meaning of it is. I love God and people. Can't seem to figure out the step to true forgiveness without having pain and doubt.

Forgiveness is a hard thing to do, espeically when you've been treated wrongfully. What helps me to forgive is realizing that God has forgiven me for all the things I've done, and continue to do by His grace. Forgiveness is a choice. I can choose to forgive, or I can choose to hold on to it by constantly replaying the pain and hurt I feel. Forgiveness is simply a release of that person from my judgment. When I finally release it, there is such a weight that comes off of me. We tend to hold on to it b/c we want to have that person to be punished and we are afraid if we forgive, it will release them from what they've done. Forgiveness is not for them, it is for us. God cannot forgive us if we don't forgive those that have hurt us, but releasing them also releases us. It's simply a choice to release them that you have to make. Hope that helps some.
